This Acceptable Use Policy (this "Policy") describes certain rules of conduct when you use the Services. Our Terms of Service at https://somi.co/terms (the "Terms") also include conduct rules and other restrictions. If this Policy and the Terms conflict, the Terms control. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
By accessing or using the Services, you accept this Policy. You must meet the minimum age in the Terms (14 or older). You agree not to use the Services for any of the prohibited purposes below.
1. Illegal and harmful activities
Do not violate the law, violate the rights of others, or engage in harmful activities when using the Services. That includes:
- Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, encouraging, facilitating, or planning any illegal or unlawful activity or content, such as (i) acts of violence or terrorism, (ii) exploitation of or harm to children, including the solicitation, creation, acquisition, or dissemination of child exploitative content or child sexual abuse material, (iii) human trafficking, exploitation, and sexual violence, (iv) the illegal distribution of information or materials to minors, including obscene materials, (v) sexual solicitation, or (vi) any other criminal activity;
- Using the Services to sexualize, exploit, or target anyone 17 or under;
- Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, encouraging, facilitating, or planning harassment, abuse, threats, or bullying directed at any individual or group;
- Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, encouraging, facilitating, or planning discrimination in connection with employment, employment benefits, credit, housing, or other essential goods and services;
- Engaging in the unauthorized or unlicensed practice of any profession, such as financial, legal, medical, health, or related professional practices;
- Using the Services for unlawful surveillance, stalking, or tracking of individuals without a lawful basis;
- Bulk reporting other individuals, users, or content through abuse reporting systems;
- Collecting, disclosing, or inferring private or sensitive information about individuals, including information relating to an individual's identity, health, or demographics, unless you have obtained the rights required under applicable law;
- Engaging in or facilitating any action, or generating any content, that violates any third-party rights, including through the use of any Outputs;
- Creating, generating, or distributing malicious code, malware, or computer viruses, or doing anything else that could disable, overburden, interfere with, or impair the proper working, integrity, operation, or appearance of a website or computer system;
- Taking any action intended to circumvent or remove usage restrictions or other safety measures, or to enable functionality the Company has disabled;
- Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, encouraging, facilitating, or planning activities that pose a risk of death or bodily harm, such as using the Services in connection with military activities, illegal drugs, or content intended to promote violence, abuse, or bodily harm.
2. Unauthorized system access or manipulation
Do not use the Services to gain unauthorized access to, or to manipulate, any system, network, account, or device. That includes:
- Engaging in unauthorized, illegal, or fraudulent financial transactions;
- Accessing or modifying another individual's account using their stored credentials without authorization, including credential stuffing;
- Executing commands that exploit or attempt to exploit system vulnerabilities;
- Using Actions, exec_command, or executor plans to attack third-party systems, to send spam, to scrape in violation of law or third-party terms, or to bypass Somi rate limits, sandbox guards, or secret egress controls;
- Spamming government services, emergency response systems, or crisis helplines.
3. Deception and misinformation
Do not use the Services to intentionally deceive or mislead others. That includes:
- Generating, promoting, or furthering fraud, or creating, distributing, or promoting disinformation;
- Generating, promoting, or distributing defamatory content, including defamatory statements, images, or other content;
- Generating, promoting, or distributing spam;
- Impersonating another individual without consent, including creating or editing images, voice, or video of other individuals (for example, deepfakes), or otherwise misrepresenting yourself or falsely implying that you are affiliated with or endorsed by another entity or person;
- Representing that Outputs are human-generated, or otherwise misrepresenting the nature or source of AI-generated content;
- Generating or facilitating false online engagement, including fake reviews, fake testimonials, and other fake engagement.
4. Tenant sites and payments
If you operate a hosted tenant site or accept payments through the Services, including through Stripe Connect, you may not use that site or those payment tools to run card-testing, create fake bookings, use stolen payment methods, or launder funds. You may not misrepresent your business, offerings, or identity to buyers or other customers of your site.
5. Platform integrity
You may not create an account after we have banned you or removed your account, unless we give written consent. You may not share login links, sessions, or other access credentials. You may not scrape somi.co or app.somi.co to train models or to build competing products.
6. Customer data
If you run a tenant site, you may not use the Services to collect or process your customers' data except as allowed by law and by the notices you give those customers. You are responsible for that data and for complying with applicable privacy and consumer-protection law.
If you violate this Policy, or if we suspect that you have, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including terminating or suspending your account. We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
